A Stahl body handle for the Xpress tri-ply pressure cooker, as our supplier lists it. It is the long handle on the cooker body, the one you hold while cooking.
As in the photo, it is a black handle with a collar at the cooker end, an opening with a screw hole on top, and one screw. Stahl makes its Xpress body handles in Bakelite. Replace it when it is cracked, burnt or loose, or when it no longer lines up with the lid handle.
Check before you order: Stahl sells two Xpress body handle models, so compare the shape, the collar and the screw position with your old handle. The short side handle is a separate part.
A cracked handle on a hot vessel is a burn waiting to happen. Handles are bolted on, so a swap takes minutes and restores full use.
