About this part
- Fits Stahl cookers that have a resettable safety valve
- Reset by pushing the pin once the cooker is cool
- Round grey valve with a centre pin
Stahl's resettable safety valve, for the Stahl outer lid tri-ply cookers that have one, as our supplier lists it. Stahl fits it to its Cooker Duo sets and to some Xpress lids. It is a round grey valve with a pin in the centre.
Stahl explains that when the pressure rises too high, the valve lifts and lets steam out. Once the cooker has cooled, you push the pin back down and it is ready again. Replace it when it is damaged, leaks or no longer resets.
Check before you order: your lid should already have this round grey valve; compare it with the photo. Never press the pin while the cooker is hot.
Valves and whistles regulate pressure. A stuck or corroded one is the commonest reason a cooker either will not build pressure or vents at the wrong point.

Rather we fitted it?
This is a part we fit rather than sell as a do-it-yourself job. Book a pressure cooker visit and the technician arrives with it, tests the appliance, and closes the job only once you confirm the work.

Stahl Stl-res Pcol Resettable Safety Valve (50) — questions we get asked
How much is the Stl-res Pcol Resettable Safety Valve (50)?
₹50, and that is what you pay — the amount is restated before you confirm and nobody re-prices it after opening the appliance. Fitting, if you want it, is quoted separately and agreed first.
Will it fit my pressure cooker?
Gasket size follows the cooker litre capacity, not the brand alone. Check the number stamped on the base of your cooker before you order. WhatsApp a photo of the appliance and of the failed part, and we will confirm the match before you pay for anything.
Can I fit this valve myself?
We do not supply it that way. Valves and whistles regulate pressure. A stuck or corroded one is the commonest reason a cooker either will not build pressure or vents at the wrong point. A technician brings it, fits it, tests the appliance, and you sign the job off before it is billed.
How soon can I have it in Bangalore?
It is in stock in Bengaluru. Parts we hold locally usually reach a job the same day, and most repairs booked against them close within 12 hours across the city.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes. This part invoices under HSN 40169340, and a GST invoice is raised for the order — which is what a technician or a dealer buying for a workshop needs.
