Butterfly's small body side handle. As printed on Butterfly's box, it fits the Junior and Sub Junior 2 and 3 litre stainless steel outer-lid cookers and the 2 litre pressure pan.
The side handle is the small loop on the other side of the body from the long handle, so you can hold the cooker with both hands. It is black with a steel strip at the fixing edge, and comes with a screw and nut, as in the photos. Replace it when it is cracked, burnt or loose.
Check before you order: bigger cookers take bigger side handles; Butterfly's big side handle is for the 7.5, 10 and 12 litre cookers.
A cracked handle on a hot vessel is a burn waiting to happen. Handles are bolted on, so a swap takes minutes and restores full use.
