About this part
- Fits Butterfly Blueline stainless steel 3.5, 4.5, 5 litre
- Junior 'U' size in green silicone
- Not for aluminium cookers ('R' and 'F' types)
Butterfly's Junior 'U' silicone gasket: a green silicone sealing ring for the Butterfly Blueline stainless steel cookers of 3.5, 4.5 and 5 litres. The pack says Junior 'U', silicone gasket.
It is the silicone version of the black Junior 'U' nitrile gasket and fits the same cookers. It seals the lid to the body so pressure can build. Replace it when steam leaks at the lid, the whistle is slow, or the ring is torn, stretched or loose.
Check before you order: this is the 'U' type, for stainless steel cookers. Butterfly's 5 litre aluminium cookers take the Junior 'R' (Standard range) or the Junior 'F' (Genial), not this ring. The 2 and 3 litre Blueline take the Sub Junior 'U'.
A gasket is a wear part with a service life. Once it hardens or flattens it stops sealing, and on a pressure cooker that means steam escaping around the rim instead of building pressure.

Cooker Gasket Butterfly Silicon Jr — questions we get asked
How much is the Cooker Gasket Butterfly Silicon Jr?
₹165, and that is what you pay — the amount is restated before you confirm and nobody re-prices it after opening the appliance. Fitting, if you want it, is quoted separately and agreed first.
Will it fit my pressure cooker?
Gasket size follows the cooker litre capacity, not the brand alone. Check the number stamped on the base of your cooker before you order. WhatsApp a photo of the appliance and of the failed part, and we will confirm the match before you pay for anything.
Can I fit this gasket myself?
We do not supply it that way. A gasket is a wear part with a service life. Once it hardens or flattens it stops sealing, and on a pressure cooker that means steam escaping around the rim instead of building pressure. A technician brings it, fits it, tests the appliance, and you sign the job off before it is billed.
Is it available right now?
Not from stock today. Message us and we will give you the real lead time before you commit — a date we can keep beats a date that sounds better.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes. This part invoices under HSN 4016, and a GST invoice is raised for the order — which is what a technician or a dealer buying for a workshop needs.
