A 3/8 inch flush valve: a small on/off ball valve with a push-fit (quick connect) socket at each end for 3/8 inch pipe, and a blue lever, as in the photos.
It opens or shuts a 3/8 inch water line with a quarter turn. As a flush valve, it lets water bypass the flow restrictor so a fast flow rinses the membrane; it can also serve as a plain shut-off valve. Replace it when it leaks, the lever is stiff or broken, or it does not shut fully.
Check before you order: this one is for 3/8 inch pipe, which is wider than 1/4 inch pipe. Check the size printed on your pipe. For 1/4 inch pipe, see our 1/4 inch flush valve.
