Prestige's zero pressure device (ZPD) assembly for Deluxe aluminium cookers. Prestige's item name reads ZPD Assembly Alu Deluxe. A Prestige parts seller lists the same part for the older aluminium Deluxe, stainless steel Deluxe and Deluxe Plus cookers.
The ZPD sits in the lid and shows whether there is still pressure inside, so you know when the cooker is safe to open. Replace it when it sticks, leaks steam, or its rings are hard, torn or missing.
