Prestige's mini metallic safety plug, the safety valve in the lid. As printed on the Prestige pack, it fits all Prestige aluminium Deluxe cookers, all Nakshatra cookers and all stainless steel cookers. A Prestige parts seller also lists the Deluxe Plus aluminium, Popular stainless steel, Svachh aluminium and hard anodised, and Deluxe Alpha cookers.
If the pressure inside the cooker gets too high, the plug releases it. Replace it if it has blown, leaks steam, is damaged or is missing. Do not use the cooker without it.
Check before you order: this is the mini plug. Prestige's regular metallic safety plug (60113) is for Popular, Supreme, Ultimate and regular cookers, so compare the size with your old plug. Fit it only when the cooker is cold and empty.
