Prestige's junior side handle (auxiliary handle) for Deluxe cookers, held by one screw. As printed on the Prestige box, it suits the Deluxe 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6.5 and 7 litre pressure cookers.
The side handle is the short grip on the cooker body, opposite the long handle. It helps you lift a full cooker with both hands. Replace it when it is cracked, burnt or loose.
Check before you order: it fixes with one screw, which comes with it. Prestige also makes a two-screw Deluxe junior side handle (60601). The Deluxe 7.5 litre and bigger take the senior side handle (60097).
A cracked handle on a hot vessel is a burn waiting to happen. Handles are bolted on, so a swap takes minutes and restores full use.
