Bergner's body handle for the larger Argent Classic tri-ply outer lid cookers. As printed on the Bergner box, it fits the 2.5, 3.5, 5.5, 6.5 and 8 litre cookers and the 3.5 and 5 litre pressure pans.
This is the long grip bolted to the cooker body. It is black Bakelite with a metal collar where it meets the cooker, ribs beside the collar and a hollow channel underneath; two screws and washers come with it. Change it when it cracks, chars or wobbles, or when the lid handle no longer lines up with it.
Check before you order: the 1 litre Argent Classic takes SPR-178 and the 1.5 litre takes SPR-199. This one is Bergner part no. SPR-208.
