An elbow for the booster pump of an RO water purifier, for 1/4 inch pipe. As in the photo, it is white, with a wide male thread on one side that screws into the pump's port and a push-fit socket for 1/4 inch pipe on the other. Blue locking clips are shown with it.
Replace it when it leaks at the pump or at the pipe, the thread is cracked, or the pipe no longer grips.
Check before you order: its thread is wider than the thread on our bowl elbow, so compare it with the old elbow on your pump. Wrap the thread with Teflon tape, and do not over-tighten it into the plastic pump head. Our technician can fit it during an RO service.
The pump and its valves move water through the membrane. A purifier that runs but fills slowly is usually one of these rather than the filters.
