A 4 inch inline post carbon filter for RO water purifiers. The label reads Peora Post Activate Carbon Filter. It is a grey cartridge with a nozzle at each end.
A post carbon filter works after the RO membrane. Its activated carbon takes away leftover taste and smell from the purified water. Change it when the water starts to taste or smell stale, usually along with the other filters.
Check before you order: this is the post carbon stage. The carbon filter that sits before the membrane (pre-carbon) is a different part. Match the length and the end nozzles with your old filter. The label gives a maximum flow of 1.00 GPM, maximum pressure of 125 PSI and maximum temperature of 100 °F.
