Hawkins' subsidiary (side) body handle, code SBH75, with its screw. It is the short handle opposite the long body handle, for Hawkins pressure cookers of version 1975 from 4 to 12 litre.
It gives you a second grip, so you can lift a full cooker with both hands. Replace it when it is cracked, burnt, loose or lost. It screws onto the small metal bracket on the cooker body.
Check before you order: cookers of version 1995 and later take the newer SBH05 side handle, and the Contura and Stainless Steel cookers have side handles of their own.
