The lid of Ultra's SQG jar, the small jar of the Ultra Vario+ and Stealth mixer grinders. It is a see-through, smoky grey dome lid with a tab at one side. As in the photo, it is moulded with 'Hold the lid' and a warning about hot ingredients.

Replace it when it is cracked, the tab has broken, or it no longer sits tightly on the jar. The black lid gasket that seals it is sold separately as the SQG jar lid gasket.

Check before you order: this lid is for the SQG jar only. The 0.8 litre and 1.5 litre jars of these mixers take different lids.

A cracked or loose lid is a splash and a spill risk, and on a pressure appliance it stops the unit holding pressure at all.
