A Philips dome gasket for 0.5 litre mixer jars, the newer type (Philips part 996510080531). It is a thin black ring with a stepped edge, as in the photo. Philips has not published which mixer models take it.
The dome gasket sits in the rim of the jar's lid (dome) and seals it on the jar. Replace it when the lid leaks, sits loose, or the ring is torn, stretched or hard.
