A compatible gas valve (gas cock) for Prestige built-in hobs, sold by our supplier as Type G. It is not made by Prestige.
The photos show a metal body with a brass-coloured spindle for the knob and a threaded gas outlet. The inlet has two mounting ears and a green seal ring.
A valve needs replacing when it turns very stiffly, the spindle is loose, or the flame will not turn down or shut off.
Check before you order: compare the spindle, outlet and seal with your old valve. Our Type A valve looks similar but has a yellow seal. Book a hob repair and our technician will fit and leak-test it.
