Butterfly's Standard LPG hose: the flexible rubber hose that carries gas from the cylinder regulator to your gas stove. As printed on the card and the hose, it is ISI marked to IS 9573 (Part 2), reinforced with steel wire, with an 8 mm bore and a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa.
Replace the hose if it is cracked, hard, swollen, cut or chewed, loose on the nozzle, or if you smell gas near it. Never tape or patch a damaged hose.
Have it fitted by your gas agency's mechanic, or book a gas stove service and our technician will fit it and check the joints for leaks.
If you smell gas, close the cylinder valve, do not switch any light or appliance on or off, open the doors and windows, and call your gas agency or the LPG emergency number 1906.
