A housing for the RO membrane, sold by our supplier as the Crazy membrane housing. As in the photos, it is a white plastic tube with a screw cap at one end and two threaded ports at the other. The cap has one threaded port in its centre.
The membrane element sits inside, sealed by its own O-rings and brine seal. Water comes in through the cap, and the purified water and the drain water leave through the two ports at the closed end. Replace the housing when it cracks, leaks at the cap or a port, or its threads are damaged.
Check before you order: the membrane must match the housing's size, so compare the length and width with your old housing. Fit elbows into the three ports with Teflon tape.
