A compatible silicone gasket, sold under the Orange name, for 1.5 litre stainless steel outer lid pressure cookers. The sticker on the Orange pack reads 'Silicon rubber gasket for stainless steel pressure cooker (Suitable for 1.5 Litres)'.
The gasket is the sealing ring in the lid that lets the cooker build pressure. Replace it when steam leaks around the lid, the whistle takes much longer, or the ring has gone hard, cracked or loose. The pack notes that it is only for outer lid cookers.
