Preethi's gear box assembly (Preethi part 41900276) for the Master Chef food processor jar of the Preethi Zodiac mixer grinder. In the Zodiac (MG 218) manual it is part 14, the gear box under the Master Chef jar. It is black, with a black splined socket on top and a white drive coupling underneath, as in the photos.
Replace it when the chopping, slicing or kneading tools turn slowly or stop while the motor runs, it rattles, or it is cracked. Do not immerse it in water to clean it, as printed on it.
Check before you order: the Zodiac Cosmo (MG 236) takes a different gear box (41900218).
