Preethi's gear box assembly (Preethi part 41900218) for the Master Chef Plus food processor jar of the Preethi Zodiac Cosmo (MG 236). It is the black round gear attachment with a white splined socket on top and a white drive coupling underneath, as in the photos. Preethi's own photo of this part is the same.
It carries the drive from the base to the tools in the bowl. Replace it when the tools turn slowly or not at all while the motor runs, it rattles, or it is cracked.
The print on it says not to immerse the gear attachment in water. Preethi's photo adds: detach it before washing the jar.
Check before you order: the Zodiac (MG 218) takes a different gear box (41900276).
