A Philips dome gasket for 0.5 litre mixer jars (Philips part 996510053654). As in the photo, it is a plain, flat black band. Philips has not published which mixer models take it.
It fits in the rim of the jar lid (dome) and seals the lid on the jar so nothing leaks while grinding. It is due for a change when the lid leaks or feels loose, or the band is torn, stretched or hard.
