Philips' soleplate assembly for the GC1028 steam iron. It comes in Philips' own box, labelled 'SOLEPLATE ASSEMBLY- GC1028' with product code 996510073599.
As in the photos, it has a bronze-coloured face with angled steam grooves and holes, and it comes wired, with the thermostat, the leads and a small indicator lamp on the back.
