An indicator lamp set for Philips irons (Philips part 996510068793). As in the photo, it is a small glass lamp with a resistor on one lead and a red sleeve on the other, ending in two push-on terminals. Philips has not published which models take it.
It is the light that glows while the iron heats. Replace it when that light stays off although the iron heats. If the iron does not heat at all, the fault is elsewhere.
