Preethi's 4 point powder coated pan support (Preethi part 49000591) for Preethi gas stoves. It is a black ring with a wavy edge and four arms that hold the vessel, as in the photo.
Replace it when it is bent or cracked, rocks on the stove, or the coating has worn off and it has started to rust. A pan support that does not sit flat makes vessels unsteady on the flame.
