Vinod's subsidiary (back) handle for Vinod Platinum pressure cookers, in Vinod's Platinum box: the short loop handle opposite the long body handle. It has a steel plate where it meets the cooker, and comes with a screw and washer.
With it you can lift a full cooker with both hands. Replace it if it has cracked, burnt or broken, or no longer stays firm on the cooker.
Check before you order: the Regular outer-lid cookers and the Splendid Plus (Handi) cookers take different back handles. The box does not list sizes.
A cracked handle on a hot vessel is a burn waiting to happen. Handles are bolted on, so a swap takes minutes and restores full use.
