Sujata's motor body in black: the outer housing of the mixer base. As in the photos, it is a glossy black shell with the jar seat and its locking lugs on top. It has vent slots and openings for the switch panel. The photos show the body shell only.
Replace it when the body is cracked, broken or burnt. Replace it too when the jar seat or its lugs are damaged and the jar no longer sits firmly.
