A thick slicing blade insert for a food processor jar (Preethi part 41003631). Our supplier's item name is THICK SLICING BLADE-COSMIC. We list it for the Preethi Zodiac Cosmo, but Preethi does not publish its fit. It is an oval steel plate with a raised slicing edge, a round hole and a plastic tab, as in the photo.
The insert fits on the plastic blade holder disc and slices vegetables thick as you feed them down the chute. Replace it when the edge is blunt, chipped or bent.
Check before you order: compare it with your old slicing insert and your blade holder disc. Hold it by the plastic tab when you wash it: the edge is very sharp.
