Philips' 4.2 ampere overload cut-out for the Philips HL7703 mixer grinder, the model printed on Philips' pack ("CUT OUT-4.2 AMP HL7703"). The breaker itself is marked "Ajay Circuit Breaker 4.2A 220-240V AC 50/60Hz", with a red reset button and two spade terminals, as in the photos.
This small breaker protects the motor: it trips and cuts the power when the mixer is overloaded, and you press the red button to reset it. A cut-out that will not reset, or trips even with a light load, needs replacing. Have the motor, the switch and the wiring checked too, as they can cause the same fault.
Check before you order: use the same rating as your old cut-out; the 3.2 ampere cut-out (996510068281) is a different part. Fitting it means opening the base and working on mains wiring. Book a mixer grinder repair and our technician will fit it.
