The glass has the PHILIPS logo and gold rings where the vessel goes. The frame has the openings for the buttons, the power-level lights and a wide display window, and it is moulded 'HD4928' inside.
Replace it when the glass is cracked or chipped, or the frame is broken. Stop using a cooktop with cracked glass.
