About this part

A compatible big burner for Faber, Prestige and Hindware built-in hobs, sold by our supplier as Type I. It is not made by these brands.
Type I burners are gold-coloured: a wide flame ring with holes round its outer edge, and an open centre with two screw lugs. The grey base underneath has two screw holes and a curved gas channel.
Replace it when the flame is uneven or yellow, holes stay blocked, or the ring is chipped, cracked or warped.
Check before you order: measure your old burner across and compare the screw holes. The small Type I is listed separately. Book a hob repair and our technician will fit it and check the flame.
If you smell gas, close the cylinder valve, do not switch any light or appliance on or off, open the doors and windows, and call your gas agency or the LPG emergency number 1906.
